Im in the UIR lab now... and arh... juz now scio was pretty fun... they changed our tcher! arghs... i would have prefered the guy lecturer... cuz his lecture was pretty good... but they changed a lady for us... hnmms... abit boring but she feeds us with pretty lot of info and stuff... so... yahs....

today met up with min min n wilson kor. didnt go singin... cuz too ex le... and arh... no amanda... no mood... sumore me in slight depression in the morning...

den walked to city hall... around raffles city... and decided to go bugis eat steamboat. walked to bugis and realized the steamboat was realli FREAKIN expensive.. so changed to zi char... den after dinner, migrated to the starbucks at prince to continue crapping.
basically, today was... crap crap crap, laugh laugh laugh... and lotsa catching up.... and alot of starbucks =)
yesh, i do have a pretty nice timetable, if i dun try to find faults... actually its pretty good timetable.. nice times and all.. oni one tiny waiting to be done... but juz tat im alone in most of the stuff... hmmms.... lec oso bahs... if even lec you're different... you slowly lose the motivation to go to lecs... but good is.. yesh.... u are forced to pay more attention in tutorials and lab... cuz you have to survive alone.
no, im not complaining anything.
was reminded of many people today... of the sec days... all the camps and stupid stuff we used to do or thinkin or the ways we behaved in the past.
the past, something tat follows you for the rest of ur lives... not something which u can edit or delete and it'll juz dissappear into thin air... it haunts you day and night and makes you the person you are now.

THAI RESEARCH TRIP:: PROJECT DUE-ED

was a sat... we had a driver to drive us around... was pretty cool... lols... went to the Chatuchak weekend market. hmms... we dropped at the book section... den slowly walked towards the main area... actually... the map can oni tell you about the main direction, where you're... and there're signs on the stops... to tell you which section you are... if not u surely get lost.
hmms... sells everything imaginable bahs. first day... was ok... hot, yes. but we endure more then 4hrs of the market... superly amazing... lols.
bought lots of teeshirts. and there's this nice shop with AIRCON selling soap and... hmms... incense, the oil u use for spa de and everything... most importantly, IT HAS AIRCON... muahahas. hmms... can try the yogurt ice cream there... very nice. we spilt with the guys... so me n huii walk together. and arh. the walkie is totally useless, unless you're in the same section, if not u cant get each other at all. remember to bargain there! lotsa of cheap stuff... and most of them are unique.
they see u tourist always CHOP you de... so.. buy mroe can get better bargain mah? i tink okie bahs... but their tee shirts realli alot of unique designs. and the fruit jiuces are really cheap! i seen some vendors selling the iced sticks... i tink is they make using carbonated water.. like 7-up or orange juice de. hmms...
had a rest back at the hotel.. and tah-bao-ed some noodles and fried rice frm the street near to our hotel de. actually is want to eat there... like road side stall... but really we waited DAMM long and the place was visited by alot of mosqitoes... so we tah-bao back to the hotel to eat. and arhs... the food... arghs....
celebrated joel's bdae on the bus:
suam lum... very arty place... price more steep oso... and got ferris wheel!!! but arhs... didnt go cuz... tian ge ge buay tahan... sadded. MUZ GO NEXT TIME!!! wats the point if you left someone else down there... while you're having fun... spoils the whole purpose...

went to bobae market. actually there isnt anything much. nothing at all... but as yellow is the offical color for the king there... you can see the WHOLE STREET selling yellow shirts. frm woman, to men, to child, frm tee shirts to polo tees... lols. YELLOW. and lotsa children clothes too... but the outside market. DAMM HOT. hmms... if you're there, can go the bobae tower... or izzit tat called.... i forgot... hmms. juz with the hotel there the building... very nice tee shirts there... but are all wholesale. so you need to buy few pieces. if you buy one usually more ex. and arh... the tee shirts can go as cheap as 40bhat ($1.7) to about./.. 120bhat ($5)... for nice teeshirts. very cheap... and very weird structure of the building... their one floor, is divided into two levels. like level 5, got level 5A and 5B.... very very weird. and arh... walkie cannot use inside... =X

DURS. was ll 200+bhat per trip... actually us and the guys wanted to go hm seperately... cuz we're way far apart... we tot we caught with them... but they walked too fast off... so we missed them... in the end we still met up... cuz the cab ride back was like... durs... and by the time, me n huii's both hp... no credit le!!! cannot call... lols... go there totally forget there's this thingy call SMS. lols. met at gate2... took a tuk tuk back... 180bhat. we're all really admiring shitian sia. he can sleep everywhere! even on the tuk tuk moving so fast. and i guess all the heat and walked made everyone very tired.
at night walked around the patpong area... start frm our hotel keep walking down... still got people approach us ask want to want to watch tiger show... hmms... sourced for a place to eat dinner... in the end ended up eating sabusabu... at some jap restuarant... erms... like hot pot nia lor... durs... sumore the food items not very WOW... so... yahs... bout $8 per person liddat.... so okie lor... last meal outside le mahs. hmms... actually patpong is the red light district there... but actually if you keep walking on the main street, its ok de... cuz alot of ppl too.
but there the road side stalls sell stuff quite EX lehs. hmms... but they very eager to do business de... they give u the price, u not happy wanna walk away, they'll ask you to quote the price instead... imagine... one sunglasses... @ Chatuchak... frm 5o to 190bhat... at there is bout 600bhat... but you can bargain lar. and muz see the quailty oso... =p
the most memorable... we all saw ppl selling sex or rated DVD or water... they were holding some very small peices of paper in their hands showing to ppl who walk by... den got write "VCD, DVD, SEX". it was so very farnie lors!
den took cab to chinatown... cuz me insisting... lols... need to buy gao sai mahs! lols. and arh... bout bird nest for grandma too... under pressure of the other four lor. dur.s.

woke up and packed. and took alot of photos in the hotel... four days really passed very fast... and the stuff i bought was ALOT... much alot more as compare to hk... cuz my luagge was FULL... lols. the tour agnecy had a bus to send us to the airport... and the guy was telling us that, every monday @ thailand is the YELLOW day... cuz the king's birthday falls on a monday... so every monday everyone would be wearing yellow... EVERYONE... not kua zhang at all... really everyone.
we checked in... and decided that we're hungry... ate at the airport... and so fast... lols. i tink it was the fastest i EVER ate ice-cream or watever... lols... and sumore so eager to spend all the money. lols.
so that was my thailand trip.
learnt alot.... cuz mostly is plan ourselves... and realized if you want to spend money to go overseas... remember to HAVE FUN.... and not... hmmms... have regrets... and bring all the money... dun regret buying watever you've seen but didnt buy... and arhs... have lotsa fun... go with a bunch of people with the same purpose, to have fun too... have fun in the same way as you do.

today was spent... SLEEPING.... i need to make up for all the lost time during bangkok till now... durs... imagine... one week since bangkok... so fast... last week tis time where were we? patpong? OH YARS.... walking around the streets of patpong in search for a place for dinner... heheheh...

Youth has an end. we need to face the process of growing up sooner or later. did god ever set this rule than once u grow up, there's no going back to the innocence during when u're a child?

even thou as unwilling to part with my dreams... i find myself throwing one and another away slowly... cuz there seems to be no more space to keep them... and its pretty useless too... cuz no one apperciates certain dreams... its all silliness to some people.

28sept 2006
met at the airport to eat sakae. took finnair flight, AY98 to bangkok. quite nice flight, smooth and spacey... erms.. reached bbk at late nite. met tour guide and take bus back to narai hotel, 222 silom road. and so nicely, the day we reached was the first day the new airport, Suvarnabhumi Airport, opened on the day we arrived... so we juz nice... arrive on first day.
reach hotel n settled dwn. went out 7-11 to buy stuff... and saw the first gay couple, wows, kissing like nobody's business. and we're been reconized as singaporeans... by tis angmoh in the 7-11. i didnt really catch clearing wat he said. was it "good english","bad english" or "singlish"?
[ DAY TWO ]
29sept2006
halfday tour started @ 8am. poor darren, shitian n joel didnt sleep the whole nite... cuz watchin WWF... durs... me and huii got sleep abit. i slept the most. lols. hmmm... pretty miserable half day tour, quite a waste of $$$ lar.... cuz the floating market they brought us is the one in bangkok... if u call tat a 'market' lar... durs... shld go to the one outside bbk next time! if we have time still...
den went to pratunam. alot of... erms... wholesale stuff. shirts, silver, leather, and self made weird stuff... like levis jeans being cut up and made into skirts and bags and stuff...
den went back to hotel to have a rest before the ah gua show. tell u, the ah gua show was TERRIFIC... l0ls.... sing chinese song sumore! and got tis guy who looked wang an and kangta (yes, an qi xuan, tat guy sing w vanness de)... and real beautiful lady boys... some were... WOWs... really... but other than the real beautiful ones, there were two who were more like comedians... chubby and extremely kua zhang make-up. durs. helirous... hahahaha...
the more funny thingy was... when the show finished, we procceded outside to wait for the driver... and joel was... erms.... kinda kenna attacked by the lady boy to take photo.... lols... damm farnie... sumore the lady boy grabbed joel so tightly tat he couldnt escape (or dun wan to... either or... hehehehe XD)
the ah gua-s love our joel bao bei... MUAHAHAHA...
and went chinatown for dinner... seafood.... crabs, tomyam soup, prawns, friend rice, and superly nice fired dou miao!
and then... was the first tuk tuk ride... not as fast as wat expected... but still pretty fast... and wind superly big... nice experience! next time go muz try!!!

im back, yes, i am.
mind seems to be recharged.
stopped brooding about alot of stuff... cuz there's simply not enuf time to do anything else except shopping. like no even enuf time for sleeping. u wake up. get out. shop. shop. shop. and then after rest. and continue. erms... i bought like... not many other stuff. except tee shirts. and tee shirts. err... got 10+ bahs? i haven count yet. i spent all my money there.... of cuz there were some regrets... thus... we're in the mist of planning another one during march holidays. MUAHAHAHAH.....
